2018 Graduating Class of Literature

On May 7th and May 14th the Literature Program's graduating class of 2018 celebrated their academic achievements with a reception and presentation. Many students came to the podium to present a brief description of their senior project to their peers and the assembled faculty of the Literature Program. Students articulated a wide range of subjects such as Little Black Books: Exploring Black Identity Formation Through Afro-American Children's Literature; Reclaiming Edith Wharton's Satirist Status; The Creation of Power: Leaving the Closed Space of Voluntary Servitude; Power and Betrayal of Pinter, Chekhov, and Shakespeare; and Richard Wright and James T. Lily Schroedel '15
Lily graduated from Bard Literature Program in 2015. She is currently a 6th grade English and Social Studies leave replacement teacher at Sleepy Hollow Middle School in Sleepy Hollow, NY.
